Construction Progress

In May, we did a short drive around to get some videos of the construction progress along the East Coast Line. Do check out the video we have created below.

Contract Awards - March 2016

With the awards of 3 civil contracts for the Thomson - East Coast Line last week, there remain 4 civil contracts to be awarded. All station contracts, with the exception of Gardens Bay East (shell station), Amber, Bedok South and Sungei Bedok, have been awarded. A number of supplementary contracts remain to be awarded as well.

T310 - Bayshore

Last week the Land Transport Authority awarded the construction of Bayshore station to a joint venture between Woh Hup and Shanghai Tunneling Engineering Co. The contract involves construction of the station structure and two pairs of tunnels to Siglap and Bedok South stations. Tunnels between Bayshore and Siglap stations will go into a stacked formation to clear the narrow corridor along Bayshore Road and Bayshore Park condominium.

T309 - Siglap

Contract T309 was awarded last week to a joint venture of John Holland and Zhen Hua Engineering. The contact is for the construction of Siglap station structure only. For contract T309, there will be no tunnel works involved - similar to Bencoolen, Geylang Bahru and Kaki Bukit stations along the Downtown Line stage 3.

Contract Awards - T301, T309, T310

The Land Transport Authority has awarded 3 Thomson-East Coast Line civil contracts today and 1 contract for the Downtown Line stage 3 extension.

Contract Awards - Tanjong Rhu, Katong Park & Marine Parade

Compilation of the contracts that have been tendered and awarded to date.
Earlier today the Land Transport Authority announced the award of contracts for 3 stations along the East Coast sector of the Thomson - East Coast Line (TEL). Tanjong Rhu, Katong Park and Marine Terrace stations were awarded to their respective contractors with construction expected to begin by the end of this quarter.
