We eagerly await these 9 new stations to be fully operational come 2024, together with the Downtown Line 3 extension. Congratulations residents in Tanjong Rhu, Katong, Marine Parade, Siglap and Bedok South on the announcement of your new stations. Till next year, there will not be much further activity. I tested the travel time from Bayshore Road to Orchard bus stop by bus. I tested 3 times, and the results were all 40 to 45 minutes only. I also tested during peak hours (on a Friday, 6:45pm).
ReplyDeleteWhile I look forward to the Bayshore MRT station, I think that their table to depict the time saved is inaccurate. I suspect that the travel time from Bayshore to Orchard via TEL would likely be about 30 minutes (not 45 minutes). If so, then our time savings would just be 15 minutes.
