TEL5 - Aerial snapshot in March 2025

9 March 2025 - An aerial view of Bedok South station.

Recently, en route back from Kuala Lumpur, we managed to get some great views of the two Thomson-East Coast Line phase 5 stations from the air. Despite the team's semi-frequent travel, various factors need to come together in order for us to get these shots - arrival timing, direction of landing, window seat, clear windows and weather - just to name a few.

We hope that with the aerial views, you'll be able to better understand the layout of the two stations and also see the progress made thus far.

TE30 - Bedok South

Exit numbers added in for ease of reference.

The location of the exits and nearby landmarks are listed for better placement.

As noted in our previous Snapshot update in February, the majority of construction work at the site has been completed, with the worker dormitory being demolished as well. Between now and 2026, work will proceed to slowly complete any remaining works - such as the installation of signage and directory fixtures - will proceed at a rather slow pace until the handover of the station from contractor to the Land Transport Authority (LTA).

TE31/DT37 - Sungei Bedok

9 March 2025 - An aerial view of all 4 of the station's exits, not typically easily seen.

The exit numbers, locations and nearby landmarks have been added for ease of reference. Exit 4
will allow commuters to access the underground bicycle park at the station.

This aerial view offers the best view thus far of Exits 3 and 4, located along the future extension of Upper East Coast Road that will connect to Laguna Golf Green. Also in view are the station's 2 ventilation buildings and 1 ancillary building, all located along the station's southern edge.

This post will also be available on Instagram & Facebook on 15 March 2025.
