Tender schedule

The Thomson-East Coast Line was announced last August by Minister for Transport Lui Tuck Yew. In keeping to the timeline for construction to commence in 2016, tenders are expected to be floated this year and placed up for bids. The pre-qualification for bidding of the contracts was floated late last year. Here is a list of the expected release of the respective contract tenders:

As with the Thomson segment of the line, slight delays can always be expected in the tender being called and/or closed. A particular example is the contract for Outram Park station which was closed for bids but subsequently re-opened on the same day and the deadline further extended. To date, contracts for the advanced works relating to utility diversions have been called for tender.
