These stations are built to certain specifications and serve as air raid shelters in times of emergency. Special rooms can be converted for containment of chemicals and other areas used for sanitary purposes. Trains will dock at the stations providing more usable space for accommodation or other such purposes as the station tunnels have blast doors which will be sealed to ensure the safety of the occupants. With the construction of the East Coast Line, residents along the eastern sector will have more reason for joy with several of the stations being built as CD shelter stations.
