Construction for this contract is expected to commence in quarter 1 of 2016. During the course of construction, residents can expect some noise and dust. Road diversions will be necessary to make way for the construction of the station and the adjoining cut-and-cover tunnel towards Marine Terrace station. This cut-and-cover section will facilitate sidings and crossovers for the line at the track level while the upper level will feature a retail shops lining the underpass to the exits.
