Here's a brief update of the status of the 10 stations being built under the East Coast section of the Thomson-East Coast Line (TEL) under phases 4 and 5 of the line.
Phase 4
The stations under phase 4 are wrapping up construction with most architectural elements in place. Completion of works for this section is expected in Q1 2024, thus the contractors have approximately 6 months to go. Marine Parade is the slowest moving of all the stations under this phase.
TE22A - Founders' Memorial (Contract T302)
In a nutshell: More cladding has gone up at the station buildings. As this station will not open with the rest of the stations under the same phase, there is more breathing room at this station site for completion of works.

Work is now focusing on getting the commuter infrastructure such as linkways, bus stop shelters & pick-up/drop-off shelters ready. Reinstatement around the electrical substation is also underway with the trackworks contractor having vacated the site.

In a nutshell: Works are still focused on the station exit and ancillary buildings - these are mostly cladding and installation of the metal roofs. Architectural works and the installation of mechanical & electrical components still has some way to go at certain exits. The exits connected to the station box are more advanced than those connected to the retail subway.
