T310 - Bayshore August 2023 update

6 August 2023 - Bayshore station, Exit 1 we presume

It has been a hot minute since we visited Bayshore station. Let's be real - the site is not one that has good vantage points and there was limited scope in capturing much that was photo-worthy. We're sorry, but just didn't have many leads for accessing vantage points where it was worth capturing shots. But nonetheless, we were informed by some followers that a new road had opened up recently and thus we went down to see what we could capture.

6 August 2023 - Presumably Exit 5.

Street report
Bayshore station will feature 5 exits all with a distinctive coiled metallic frame surrounding the entrance base which supports the escalators, lifts and stairs. Technically, this makes the entire structure roof with very few walls in place. Significant progress has been observed, with most of the station exits relatively complete.

6 August 2023 - Getting up close with Exit 2 shows the amount of work still required. There
are no tiles present at the exit yet and stumps for a covered linkway can be seen.

6 August 2023 - Architectural features are not yet complete, such as the roof trimmings at the
corner of Exit 2.

6 August 2023 - A view of Exit 3 - solar panels can be seen on top of the exit.

6 August 2023 - A closer view of the solar panels on top of the exit.

6 August 2023 - A view of the pick-up/drop-off (PUDO) shelter near Exit 4.

Close up report
As most of the hoarding has come down and is now replaced with construction fencing instead, more parts of the site are visible now. The opening of Bayshore Drive has also opened up more sight lines. The Pick Up-Drop Off (PUDO) shelter near Exit 4 has been completed along with some covered linkways.

There still remain some touch up works to be completed, such as architectural finishes and mechanical & electrical works. During our visit, we did not manage to see any LED passenger information boards installed. However, that could be due to the fact that we could not see very far into the exit due to its design and the LED boards could have been obscured from view.

14 May 2023 - A view from Bedok South Horizons of Bayshore station site.

14 May 2023 - A view of Exits 4 and 5 with Exit 1 and 2 in the background.

14 May 2023 - Exits 1, 2 and 4 can be seen here. The PUDO shelter has just begun assembly
work.

14 May 2023 - Exit 5.

14 May 2023 - Exit 4.

14 May 2023 - Facility building & Exit 2.

Aerial report
This is a bit of a throwback, roughly 3 months earlier to the middle of Q2 2023. The works at the site are at a less advanced stage with the architectural features still far from done. While Exits 4 and 5 are at a more advanced stage of completion, the remaining exits still feature exposed steel columns that support the structure. Work on the facility building is also far from complete with bare concrete visible. It is heartening to see the progress made in the 3 months since.
