T306 - Tanjong Katong station update

On National Day, we conducted a virtual tour on the SG MRT Construction (SgMC) Instagram channel. During the tour, we covered several stations along the Thomson-East Coast Line and we'll be featuring some additional shots that we may not have showcased on the Instagram channel during the tour.

Like many of the stations along this stretch of the line, there aren't many vantage points that are easily accessible to offer aerial views of the construction. Short of asking someone to open their homes, the best views are from the roads nearby. Nonetheless the superstructure for all the exits and supporting services can be seen at street level, indicating that underground work of the structure is largely completed as well. Works should be progressing to architectural elements (wall cladding, floor tiles, railings, glass panels, etc) as well as mechanical (fare gates, plumbing, escalators, elevators, etc) and electrical (wiring, lighting, CCTV, etc) components.
