T310 - Bayshore progress

19 August 2022 - An overview of the Bayshore station construction site.

Hey everyone, we're back! Due to time constraints during our National Day Virtual Tour of the Thomson-East Coast Line (TEL) phases 4 & 5, we had to skip both Bayshore & Sungei Bedok stations. But soon after, we made another trip down to cover these remaining 2 stations. Do check out the progress of Bayshore station which will have 5 exits. Early last month, Minister Heng Swee Kiat also visited the station and posted a few photos on his Facebook page, showing the station's interior.

All station exits have completed basic structures above ground level. Of the five exits, one has progressed to an advanced stage of architectural works whilst a second has commenced cladding work. The remaining 3 exits are currently concrete shells.

Meanwhile Minister Heng's photos show the current state of the station's interior. Cladding works are on-going whilst escalators have been installed. It appears that elevator installation is still on-going. Platform screen door frames are also visible at platform level, although the glass doors and panels have yet to be installed. The station overall looks to be making good progress ahead of its 2024 operationally ready date.
