T308 - Marine Terrace Q1 2023 update

Marine Terrace station will have 6 exits - all of which are at various stages of construction. Exit A and B are located right in the centre of the station, with Exit A being located along the westbound Marine Parade Road and Exit B directly opposite, along the eastbound Marine Parade Road. Exits C and D are likewise situated across from each other at the eastern end. This brings us to Exits E and F, similarly located opposite each other but on the western end of the station.

Exit A
This exit was one of the first to emerge for the station and will be located smack in the heart of Marine Terrace housing estate. The metal roof frame for the exit has been installed for some time now and cladding works are becoming more pronounced.

Exit B
Located across the road from Exit A, this exit is having a part of the concrete wall being cast. Other works that have been completed including the installation of the metal roof frame while cladding works have just begun. Although not apparent in this image, cladding is being installed at the base of the exit. It presumably will be installed upwards.

Exit D
This exit is located in close proximity to St Patrick's school and is in the midst of having its metal roof frame being installed. The escalators, previously installed, sit below tarpaulin to protect the equipment from the recent wet and rainy weather.

Exit C
This exit is also located near a school and care had to be taken to ensure that the works do not interfere with the nearby school's operations. Like Exit D across the road, metal roof frames are being installed before other works such as cladding and tiling can proceed.
