T308 - 2022 Year end update

 

25 November 2022 - Exit B along Marine Parade Road.

25 November 2022 - Exit A which will be the station's main exit.

All the exits at Marine Terrace station have now had their concrete structures cast. Work has progressed onto the installation of the metal frames for the roof portions. Escalators also appear to have been installed at most of the exits at the station.

21 November 2022 - Exit C outside St Patrick's School.

21 November 2022 - The frame being put up will protect the escalators from the weather at Exit C.

21 November 2022 - Exit D outside CHIJ Katong Convent school.

25 November 2022 - Some cladding work although not very visible, unlike that at Katong Park.

Apart from Exit A, none of the other station exits have any cladding works yet. Even at Exit A, there is minimal cladding and it is not very visible being hidden behind scaffolding and fencing. The cladding at Katong Park station is both more visible and substantial compared to that at this station.

The Project Information Centre (PIC) is run by the contractor in charge of Marine Terrace station due to the PIC's proximity to the station site. Information panels and 3D architectural models are available for viewing.

In the coming year, cladding can be expected to go up at the station exits as works progress into the architectural finishings phase. Equipment such as lighting, ventilation and passenger information systems will also be installed and tested ahead of the line's projected opening in 2024.
