The second station on the Thomson-East Coast Line (TEL) phase 5 and the first station on the Downtown Line (DTL) stage 3 extension is an integrated stacked interchange station. The upper platform will house the TEL trains while the DTL will take up the lower platform level. Work at the station has progressed a bit since our last visit round. Although we do not have pictures this round, back-filling has begun as casting for the roof slab of the station has been completed. Work at the exits is continuing as well.

The Project Information Centre (PIC) near the Marine Terrace station site has information, models & pamphlets of the project for your viewing and perusal. The 3D architectural model allows one to visualize the location of the station in relation to the surroundings & the layout within.

We look forward to more progress as the station exits should achieve basic structural completion soon. The final shapes of the exits will become more apparent in the coming year. Do stay tuned as we continue to update on the various rail construction sites to wrap up 2022.
